I played bass in the early days with obscure bands (Missiles, Blue Themes, Statesmen, Tiguana Five).  Retired at 40 years of age in 1984.

I returned to the fold in 2003 as a Wagga Music Club sit in, which became cross country .  I also play blue grass with the Long Gone Daddys, and play in other jazz groups, folk sessions etc.

I have been sitting in with the Tin Shed Rattlers on and off for 12 months.  I like the bush music style of the “Rattlers” and also the diversity of it’s current member, plus any of the drop in players they make welcome.

I play upright electric bass, 5 string electric bass, and 5 string acoustic bass.  Anything that’s got 4 or 5 strings!

I am a grandfather of 7 grandchildren, who all have a wonderful Grandmother, my wife of 43 years, Bev.
