Tin Shed Rattlers

Elizabeth Browne

How did it all begin:

I started picking the violin out in Classical music from 2yrs of age.  My parents organized lessons for me at the age of seven.  From there I played right through primary and secondary school and went on to complete a Bachelor of Music at Monash University, Clayton.  During this time I played in several ensembles including wedding quartets, musical theatre productions, and was lucky enough to tour Malaysia and Vietnam with The New Monash Orchestra.  I have been teaching violin for about 13 years.  After meeting my number one fan (my partner Chris) we moved to his home town Narrandera in 2004 and soon after joined with the Tin Shed Rattlers.  I love to dance and I love to play music, so this way I get to enjoy both in one night.  Every gig we do is different, and that’s what I love about it….you never know what to expect!
